All Reiki classes are held on weekends, 9:30am to 6pm each day.
Shihan training by appointment. Gain the tools and confidence you need to be fully equipped for teaching! This is not a required course for teaching Reiki and giving attunements. However, it is highly recommended for those who want to learn methods and techniques for providing thorough, organized, and engaging classes.

Class and Workshop Descriptions
Shoden, Level I
Level I Reiki focuses on techniques for developing a strong foundation in self-treatment and treating others with Usui Reiki Ryoho. There are four attunements.
Subjects covered:
- History and methods of Reiki. Methods include balancing and clearing the human/animal energy system. Creating a strong bio-field for personal energetic strength and vitality. Muscle testing and accessing the Higher Self. Chakras are covered if there is time and interest.
- Reiki meditation and Jumon (chanting)
- Reiki Gokai
- Hand positions for self , others, and animals
- Reiki treatment on self, others, and animals
Upon completion you will have all the necessary tools to give Reiki treatments to yourself, others, animals, plants. You will know how and when to use techniques for strengthening and maintaining a strong bio-field as an aid for emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual stability. You will be able to channel Reiki energy for increased intuitive abilities, and understand its role in healing and balancing the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual levels.
A full informational booklet covering everything learned in class is included to take home and additional handouts.
You will receive a personalized certificate of your Reiki I achievement.
Okuden, Level II
Okuden explores the history and practice of using three of the four Reiki symbols and builds on Reiki I in developing your intuitive abilities. Completion of a Reiki I training is necessary to be eligible for this class.
There are three attunements.
Subjects covered:
- History and use of the three symbols for focusing energy, emotional balance, and remote/distance treatment.
- Byosen Reikan Ho – physical sensing during treatments.
- Reiji Ho – intuitive sensing for self, others, and animals.
- Duality, Oneness, and Reiki cosmology.
- Developing your self-practice and public Reiki practice.
Okuden is a blend of the metaphysical and down-to earth teachings of the Reiki system combined with lots of hands-on practice. Students will learn how Japanese and Western culture impact present day Reiki and why this is important for the practitioner. Students will leave with a deep knowledge of energy healing and many practical applications for mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual healing.
Handouts and a full informational booklet covering everything learned in class is included with your personalized certificate of your Reiki II achievement.
Shinpiden, Level III, Master Level
Shinpiden, or Mystery Teachings, offer students the opportunity for integrating Reiki more fully into life. There is a strong focus on personal and intuitive development and all the final elements of the Reiki system are included. There is one attunement.
Subjects covered:
- How to use the fourth symbol for self and others
- Self-Reiju – strengthening your connection to Spirit Energy
- Giving attunements with time for practice and coaching
- Advanced Shinpiden energy techniques
- Teaching techniques
The Master Level completes the foundation of the Reiki training. You will leave with advanced tools for accessing the human energy system, powerful techniques for working within the energy field, and thorough understanding for the effective use of Reiki on self and others. Professional ethics and setting up for teaching are covered.
Note: For those new to energy healing, ten hours of hands-on Reiki on others is required for completion of Level III. This gives assurance to your future clients that you are well equipped to perform Reiki at the professional level. In addition, I offer opportunities for consultation and follow-up about your experiences with your first clients, no extra charge. A full informational booklet covering everything learned in class is included with your personalized certificate of completion of the Master Level of Reiki.

Students will review material from Levels I-III, learn, and practice effective teaching techniques including plenty of time to practice giving attunements. Students will leave with a solid and profound understanding of the system of Reiki, responsibilities inherent in teaching, and the confidence to begin teaching others. Teacher resources include pdf, printable handbooks from each level for your students, an extensive resource list, and on-going mentorship.
All content is taught primarily in the style of Bronwen and and Frans Stiene and the International House of Reiki.
Total number of hours needed to complete teacher training is based on previous background and will be discussed on an individual basis.

This 3 hour workshop, 10am-1pm, is for those who have taken Reiki and want a refresher or more in-depth experience without having to re-take a Level. Workshop utilizes lecture, discussion, and experiential practice.
